C.U.T.E

A few people, especially my friends know that I joined C.U.T.E, a performing arts club in Uitm Machang. I joined the Dance Department since I love to dance alot! I was blessed last semester to be chosen by the seniors to perform in a few of the University's event .

Few nights before, the current members were asked to meet up at Dewan Professional for "Malam Kasih Sayang" Everyone and I mean everyone of the members didnt know what the night was about. The seniors then told us it was a night to get us all closer to each other. I mean seriously, the family is like super huge !

We sang a song called "Kasih Sayang" or Love in English and also played this game.

The game is super tiring and fun! We formed a huge circle, one person was chosen by the prez to be a victim. The victim needs to ask one person whether they love her. If they say 'Yes' the victim needs to ask another person until they say ' No' and tell the vict what type of person they like. If the description matches anyone, that person has to run and switch places with a person who also matches the description, the person without a spot to sit is the next victim.

I seriously didnt imagine Bang Mat (Dance President) to say he love people wearing clothes. Everybody got up and ran around trying to find a different spot to sit. It was as if I was in a mall and there was a major discount offered on that day. It was really fun.

Even though when it was kinda awkward when I sat next to Kak Ara and Kak Mira, but we laugh it off laughing at other people running around !

Before the night ended, the girl at the end of the circle had to hug every girl and the girl next to her has to follow her and so on. Girls had to do a silly signal when they were faced with the guys and the guys hugged one another right after the last girl. Garu, probably known in the club for being a rapper, was able to carry me when he hugged me.I mean im..... :P

All in all,it was truly a fun night ! :D

I-Techqs

I-Techqs is the club for my course ( Diploma in Statistic ) on campus ( Uitm Machang )

Before last semester's finals, I sent an application to be one of its Exco . We were given missions to complete, did presentations and such .

On the day of election, the seniors posted pictures of nominees. They used my picture when I was 14 years old! The day was kinda funny since 97% of the girls in my class wore BLUE! And Hanisah was like shouting "Vote for Izzat !! " on our way to class !

To be honest,I didnt vote for myself during the election. I vote for Paang, seniors that work with me during the mission, Asri n Amirul..

That night, they announced which of us were the new Exco of I-Techqs infront of everyone from our course! I was glad I was chosen but also sad knowing the fact that my friend Paang was not chosen .

My work in the club will mostly involve Creative and Innovation . Hopefully I wont be so stressed out with the workload .

Drip Drop ( November )

First few weeks of classes were kinda great and terrible at the same time !

THE TERRIBLE PART

It rained heavily ! It rain so hard that it was flooding just outside of campus. Water rose up to people's feet !

Not just that, it was kinda difficult , especially for me to wash my clothes. Yeah we have the convenience of having a washing machine but the Autobot wannabe does not dry it! During the rainy season, it took me about 2 to 3 days to dry all of my clothes.

Not just that, but most of the lecturer's tend to not tell us that classes are canceled or that they are unable to come in to class on that particular day....

THE FUN PART

Most of the classes were canceled !

Back in Machang ( November Post )

Before I start, I was supposed to post this last month right after Ive settle in campus. But due to my broadband being SUPER slow and useful,I was unable to do so.

I arrived in Kelantan on the 18th. Stayed at Tunes which was next to KB Mall so that I could easily buy important necessities such as food, clothes, meds etc.

Went to campus on the 21st for registration. To my suprise(horror) I was assigned a room with 5 other guys. You see if it was with my friends or people Im really close with I dont mind at all.But to be honest I live with Malaysian chavs/cunts . At first I thought everything was gonna be smooth since I was roommates with them.Boy was I wrong.

Not only are they disorganize, they're loud, sloppy and just wrong ! Im kinda jealous with my friend Paan who was assigned a room for only 2 person! And Ayie was assigned as his roommate! Lucky him.Im also quite jealous at my friends from Art&Design Pali and Alif. Their room is just infront of mine and they live with 2 seniors.A local senior called Lee and another senior who is also from Sarawak Jimmy.

I dont know why but I am always at peace when Im in that room. Even though my room has 2 ceiling fans, it is still freaking hot! Pali's has only 1 ceiling fan and its super freezing at night.

Its a bit difficult to sleep at night since most of the guys either play futsal, karaoke, play lame music etc. They usually go to sleep at 1 to 2 in the morning. Its usually peaceful when everyone has class or 8 in the morning on weekends.

Well, thats what you call life. You can never get what you want in life...

The Art of Buying Clothes

Im pretty sure that most of us are familiar with the term "Shopping for clothes".Usually there are many types of shoppers.Theres the shopper that buy clothes during a sale(or buy them because they're cheap regardless of quality) and also those that buy clothes that are abit expensive.

Some people think that shopping for clothes is easy.I was one of those people.I mean isnt it?You got cash in your wallet and you're in a mall. How hard can it be right?WRONG! Shopping for clothes is extremely(exaggerate) difficult. You dont want to spend too much money on clothes but you also dont want to end up with cheap fabric.Decisions.Decisions.From past experience(lol),I have learn my lesson. So here are a few of the things that I have learn(past tense, present tense, meh)

Firstly,we all dont want to spend up all of our money in clothes right? Well before you decide on going clothes hunting, you should make a LIST of what to buy!! Trust me,it really helps.Get paper and a pen and write down the things that you REALLY need.Really need doesnt mean the important stuff. They can be accessories, belts, hats, ties, boxers, briefs and so on.That way, when you go shopping, you wont be spending all of your cash in one store..like I did when I was in TopMan or Pull&Bear :P Before I started making a list of things to buy,I usually end up with 2 to 4 bags from each store! You can just imagine me moving up and down the escalator to get money from the ATM xD.Now,I rarely *cough* do that.I mostly go into the stores and see whether they have the stuff that I want.I usually do surveys in every store before purchasing an item.Comparing the prices and quality of the product.Just a reminder, this doesnt mean that Im rich.I mostly save up my monthly allowance and also some of the earnings I get from extra work(babysitting, writing etc).

Dont judge a book by its cover. Not all people that shops in those well known clothing store are materialistic. Some like yours truly usually buy clothes there because of the quality of the fabrics/materials.Yea sure you can buy lots of clothes at different stores for a cheaper price but REMEMBER! CHEAPER IS NOT ALWAYS BETTER(UNLESS THERES A SALE).Sure you can buy like 5 clothes for a cheaper price but think about the quality of the clothes. When you wear it for the first 3 times sure it still looks good. But what happens after the fourth or fifth wash?Usually clothes that are made from how you say materials that arent that good usually wont keep its shape for long.Ive bought clothes from this one particular store before because of its design and cheap price.I ALWAYS stop by the store everytime Im at a mall. But then I notice that after a few washes, the clothes started to turn baggy and some even becomes 'see through' xD.Which is kinda impossible to be worn outside since lol people can see your nipples and such.

Thats why I started to opt out and buy clothes from other stores.Even though the price is a bit higher than the usual,it is worth it.Still I learn that I cant have everything in the store. If I do,bye-bye fat wallet.Hard decisions also need to be made when you're going to buy clothes. You cant have everything you know, especially when you're own a budget.Something I learned 3 years ago.

Buying new outfits doesnt mean that you need to buy shirts, vest, hat, sweater, jeans, shoes, scarfs etc.Try mix something old with something new.Buy stuff that you think will work with the stuff you have back at home.

Well hope that helps. :D

REACTIONS

Response to another event.

I had a mixed reaction few months back when I found out I got into Uitm's Diploma in Statistics programme. My first reaction was, well happy of course after hearing that those that get offers to do Matriculation will not be offered any course in the public Universities.

Devastation was my second reaction. The course that was offered to me will only be at Machang,Kelantan. For Malaysians, when they hear Kelantan, all they can think about is PAS,Tok Guru and about the religious level of its residents.I too once think that way.

Orientation week was not fun at all.For 5 days, our schedule was packed full with talks by the seniors, lecturers, doctors and also University staff. Each day,I wake up at 3am in the morning just to take my morning bath and be present infront of DO's cafe at 4am.Not to brag but Im usually the only one there at 4 even though the seniors had specifically told us to be there at 4.Then comes Subuh prayer and the boring talks begin!

My only true companion and now one of my good friends at Uni is Wan(Pahang) and Uwais(Kelantan) Both of them are nice and are not lame like most of the guys in my batch. But after the orientation week,we kinda drifted apart since we were all in different programme.I was in Statistic while they were in Quantitative and Computer Science.

Was kinda happy with my class since most of them were Korean fans.At first I was not a big fan of the guys since for the first few weeks they mostly acted like jerks(sorry guys).Nana and Nisah were especially nice(erk?) to me.After a few weeks,I started getting closer with Ameer and Apan since I decided to do my projects with them and not with Nana and Nisah (:3).

Since I was frequent visitor to Ameer and Apan's room,I started getting closer with their roommates and friends.Izzad,Ameer,Ang,Fuad,Fikri,Aiman,Zul,Apan,Din and Shidie are actually nice eventhough they look intimidating when they walk in groups(xD).They're also not the "Oh you're from Sarawak so you live in a forest right?" kind of people.Infact, most of the people at Uitm,Machang arent those type of people. Most of them go to Sarawak during the holidays. They even know Dayang Salhah's Cake House(which I dont know where in God's name it is located)

I also decided to join C.U.T.E.(Cultured Unit Theatre Club)/Performing Arts Club under the Dancing. Finally,a place where I can just be myself and dance my butts off without people judging me.I was kinda surprised when a few of the seniors applaused when I entered the cafe the day after my performance thanks to the workers!Even the seniors in I-Techqs(club for Diploma in Statistic student) praised about my dancing.(K enough bout me)

Thanks to my friends especially Nisah,Apan,Izzad and Aiman for helpingme during finals. Before this,I HATED Financial Accounting. But thanks to those people,Alhamdulillah I could do the finals with ease.

All in all, studying in Kelantan isnt so bad.Theres alot of nice people, lots of cars that you can rent and go to Jeram,KB Mall etc.Oh yea,the food in Kelantan is mighty cheap :)
